Great River Project

On the 4^th of July 2011 Ottawa Riverkeeper launched the great River Project, an ambitious and interactive journey to document the state of the Ottawa River and share the ecology and rich cultural heritage of this magnificent river with a wide audience.

Ottawa Riverkeeper Meredith Brown has been paddling the river with an expert team of photographers, naturalists, historians, scientists and a motivated group of students. Those taking part in Trip 4 of the journey arrives in Bristol on Wednesday, September 7^th. There will be a public engagement at Pine Lodge from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm to have the opportunity to speak with Meredith and share stories and/or concerns about the Ottawa River.
