How are you?

Hello Everyone,

How are you doing with your new goals.?

Thanks to all who came out on Sunday after the snowfall, we had great inspiration from Rhonda. Thanks so much Rhonda for sharing your journey to date with us. The yoga was well received and we had bodies everywhere on the gym floor.
I hope you had a chance to see Deepak Chopra on Dr. Oz. He talked about using meditation to help lose weight. By being always mindful of what we are doing (which is aided by mediation) we make conscious decisions about what we eat. Not only will meditation help diet but it can help lower blood pressure as well. It is a simple concept but not always easy to follow. By emptying the mind and being still for a period everyday we will be helping our bodies relief stress. If anyone would like a talk and demo on this we can arrange it for a meeting. Just let me know.

Yoga will be starting in the new gym the first week in Feb. Call and sign up the cost is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non gym members.

Line dancing started at the Lions Hall and you can still join this Mon. at 1:00pm.

Zumba and Children's Zumba is being given as well. Call Julia Clark for info.

Connie Renaud gave a report about the Xcountry trails and an official opening will be held Feb. 12 at Pine Lodge. If you wish to use the trails you can park at Pine Lodge. Call Connie or email her for info 819-647-3939.

Our next meeting will be on Sun.Feb. 13th. Hope you circle it on the calendar. I'll send out more info re the program and place when everything gets arranged.

I am going to be on the water for 10 days enjoying some vitamin D. I'll try to send an email from the south.

Fitfully Yours,
Muriel
